About St John's Hospice

We are St John’s Hospice. We are committed to celebrating and amplifying life, enabling people to live well for as long as possible. We provide free care to more than 4,500 patients and their families across 7 Central and North West London boroughs each year.

By joining our team and raising the minimum sponsorship target, you will help create moments of joy for those diagnosed with terminal illnesses and ensure our Hospice can continue delivering free care for all those in need.

Why run for St John’s Hospice?

As part of Team St John’s you will receive:

  • A free technical running vest plus iron-on letters to customise your kit
  • One-on-one support and mentoring to help you with your training and fundraising
  • Regular e-newsletters to keep you up to date with all our latest news and activities
  • Race day support from the side-lines with our cheer stations.

Most importantly, your fundraising will help us to reach more people and provide more care. Whether it is supporting a child with a bereavement counselling session following the loss of a loved one, providing a community nurse with new clinical equipment, or providing specialist one-to-one nursing on our Inpatient Unit, your fundraising will enable even more people in our community to live well for longer.

How your support will help:

£10 could pay for a patients nutritionally balanced meal

£25 could pay for a bereavement counselling session for a family

£50 could buy a clothing kit for a St Johns Hospice Community Nurse

£150 could buy 2 weeks' worth of clinical equipment for one of our nurses working in the community

£200 could pay for one day of expert nursing care
