2023 RoboFest (For New Students)

Have you ever wondered how BattleBots the Tesla Model 3 are designed, constructed, tested and built?

Have you ever wondered how 3D printers work?

Have you ever wondered how iPhone enclosures are machined out of blocks of aluminum?

The Academy - RoboFest is a 2 hour STEM Education festival where Hackathon meets MythBusters Meets BattleBots hosted by The Milwaukee Robotics Mentor Team.

If you are a MKE high school / middle school student interested in STEM & Robotics or just love building things with your hands, join us on:

December 8th, 2022 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

At The Milwaukee Robotics Academy

During the festival you will form small teams with students like yourself and solve problems to explore for a chance to win selection of prizes! No previous experience required to attend. During the event you will explore:

• 3D Printing,
• Computer Programing,
• Arduino Controller,
• Mechanism Design,
• And Fusion 360 / Computer Aided Design

About us

The Academy is a community hub created to enable Middle and High School students to explore hands-on learning & problem solving through the FIRST Robotics Competition. We offer FREE Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math after school learning & mentorship for all Milwaukee students 8-12th Grade. Our students learn and use the 30+ pieces prototyping & fabrication machinery and equipment to design, build, and test 1 competition robot every year on a national stage in Wisconsin, Chicago, and Houston.
