I want to test for certification as a fire investigator, what do I need to do?

• Sign up for the National Association of Fire Invesitgator's Certrified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) examination in addition to your conference training track registration.

• You will receive information and instructions on how to apply and sit for the examination (Friday, May 6, 2022).

• There is an additional cost for this examination, payable to the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) – instructions will be sent to you.

• Application materials for this examination must be received by March 31, 2022 (no exceptions).

I have a PROMO CODE for a discounted or free ticket, how do I use it?

• Enter your promo code FIRST, then select the education track you want to register for

I want to register, but my employer does not use a credit card. What can I do?

• Contact us, we'll get you an invoice and when we receive payment, we will issue you a unique PROMO CODE to allow you to register online

What do I need to bring?

• Basic Personal Protective Equipment for yourself: eye protection, station/work boots; work clothing; helmet

• Weather Appropriate Dress (think rain or shine, hot, warm, or cool)

• Standard note taking materials to maximize your training experience

What meals are included in the conference?

• Breakfast - Generally included with your hotel registration (check with your hotel)

• Lunch - On your own

• Dinner - A meal will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday nights - cost is included in conference registration

I want to bring a friend to the dinner events - how can I pay for the Tuesday and Thursday night events for them?

• Pay $20 at the door when you check-in for the conference.

What's the refund policy?

• Refunds available BEFORE May 1.

• After May 1, we will issue a credit for next year's conference registration.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

• No. We will have everything you need at the registration table.

Can I update my registration information?

• Yes. Log in and update at any time.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

• It depends.

o Transfers to someone WITHIN your organization: No Problem!

o Transfers to someone OUTSIDE your organization: Contact us for assistance.

• If in doubt, contact us and we'll help you make the change.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

• Yes. We'll make adjustments as needed at registration.
