Overview
The 2023 North Star Conference is an invaluable resource for individuals who experience same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria and wish to live a Christ-centered life full of peace and joy. Listen to keynote addresses, musical performances, and dozens of breakout sessions featuring church leaders, scholars, therapists, and entertainers from the Christian community. We offer both in-person and virtual steaming options, and the ability to purchase conference recordings. The virtual streaming option includes both keynotes and breakout sessions both days.
General Session Keynote Speakers
General sessions feature keynote speakers, including respected leaders in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints community, with relevant topics centered on the conference theme, "Strength Beyond My Own."
Conference Breakouts
Breakout sessions on issues relevant to each demographic group:
- SSA Men / Gay
- SSA Women / Gay
- Transgender / Gender Identity
- Couples / Spouses
- Youth
- Parents, Family and Friends
- Ecclesiastical Leaders
Breakout sessions are focused on providing tools and resources which enable individuals to cultivate inner peace, support loved ones, and live an authentic, gospel-centered life. Individuals are welcome to attend any breakout session.
Special Events
Spouses, children, parents, siblings, friends, and church leaders are all invited to attend these special events.
Conference Opening Social
Join us for a casual welcome reception and light dinner on Thursday, June 15th at 6:30 pm. This will be preceded by a First Timers Session at 5:30 pm for those who are new to the North Star Conference. This event will kick off the 2023 North Star Conference and will be a great opportunity to meet others within the North Star community - especially those who are new or have never attended a North Star event. (Location to be announced)
Sunday Morning Session
Join us Sunday morning, June 18th, from 9:00 to 11:00am at the Sheraton for an opportunity to share testimonies and experiences of how the 2023 North Star Conference - "Strength Beyond My Own" - helped you come closer to Christ.
