Spread the word: the date for the 2023 Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival is Saturday, April 15th!We're so glad to be back and look forwarding to seeing you all once again!
The Festival is free and open to the public, no tickets required. This is Tennessee's premiere Japanese cultural festival with music and dance performances, cultural and martial arts demonstrations, and plenty of art, anime merch, and food vendors. The Festival is held rain or shine. Mark your calendars, follow the Festival on social media and RSVP to this official Facebook event to stay up to date on the latest announcements and information.

We encourage all cosplayers to wear their family-friendly costumes to the Festival, even if you are not a contestant. However, we require all cosplayers at the Festival to NOT dress in realistic military gear nor wear a mask that completely covers your face. Traditional Japanese clothing such as kimono and yukata are also highly encouraged.
Volunteers are a big reason why this Festival has been so successful over the years. Volunteer applications also tend to open in the fall at the website below:

Volunteers are provided with snacks, a piece of Festival merch to take home, and can receive community service hours. Local school, scout, church/synagogue/temple, community and meetup groups are more than welcome to volunteer as a group.

Vendor, Exhibitor, Artist and Performer (herein Participant) applications closed in February and no more wait-list applicants are being accepted. New Participant applications open in the fall around October or November and close by February 1 or when that section of the Festival fills up every year. All Participants must have products/services/performances related to Japan, Japanese culture, Japanese food, or cherry blossoms.
