Central Alabama’s beloved Montgomery Greek Festival is back!Want to experience Greece, but don’t have time for the flight? Come to the Montgomery Greek Festival on June 2nd & 3rd, and leave your suitcases behind!
Come enjoy your favorite homemade Greek goodies, music, dancing and atmosphere as you make your way around the beautiful grounds - experiencing the beauty of the Greek culture.
You’ll pick up the scent of delicious Greek dishes as your palate is tempted by heavenly Greek pastries. We will feature traditional Greek dishes like gyros, spanakopita, and baklava. Outside, your children can participate in various games, activities and crafts in the Kid’s Area.
We will also feature traditional Greek dancing performed by students of Montgomery Ballet’s Rania Charalambidou. Everyone is invited to join in this exciting pastime.
Be sure to take a guided tour of the Byzantine style sanctuary to see the beautiful iconography and learn more about the Orthodox faith! Father Paul Lundberg will offer church tours throughout the day for anyone interested in learning more of our rich religious traditions.
The festival is held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. The hours of operation are:
Friday, June 2 11:00am - 3:00pm
Saturday, June 3 11:00am – 9:00pm
