2023 Mom-Son Dance Party at St. Paul’s

Get ready to Light Up the Night! The Mom-Son Dance Party will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at the gym. There is no school the following day. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase now through January 31 (or earlier if all tickets are sold).

Why are there three different arrival times (5:00, 5:15 and 5:30p.m.)? In an effort to minimize waiting times and reduce crowding at the check-in and food lines, please wait to join the check-in line with your family until the time designated on the ticket for Mom. Contests and giveaways will not begin until 5:45p.m.

What is the contest schedule? We’re adding a new VPK-TK-K Contest that begins at 5:45p.m., so we encourage Moms of littles to purchase the 5:00p.m. Arrival Ticket to enjoy smaller crowds and music geared to this age group for the first 30-45”. For all contests, we’re making it easier for the judges. They won’t have the difficult job of eliminating anymore. The Prize Committee will watch or look for three finalists, and the crowd applause will pick the winner.

Who is invited? All St. Paul's Moms and Sons in VPK through 8th grades are invited to come. A grandmother or aunt is welcome if Mom is unable to attend.

What activities are planned? After checking in, attendees are encouraged to grab their meals. Feel free to step into the photo booth or get the party started on the dance floor!

What should I wear? The dress for the event is fun, festive and dressy casual. Bright clothing and neon colors are encouraged, as there will be black lights and interactive colored lights surrounding the dance floor. Students must wear closed-toe shoes for safety reasons. No flip flops for kids! Remember, the prize committee will be looking for the Best Dressed. Dressing up is always an option.

When is it? The event will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 5:00- 7:30 p.m. There is no school the following day.

Where is it? The event will be held at St. Paul's in the Gymnasium.

Will there be food? Yes, all food, drinks and treats will be sealed and individually packaged per person. All required health and safety procedures will be followed.

What is the cost for each Mom? The $20 ticket price per Mom includes the cost of a Chick-fil-A Adult Meal, treats, printed photos, music, entertainment and giveaways.

What is the cost for each Child? The $20 ticket price per Child includes the cost of a Chick-fil-A Kid's Meal, treats, goodie bag, music, entertainment and giveaways.

Is there a reduced cost for families with multiple sons? No. Is there a reduced cost if I do not wish to have a meal? No. Unfortunately, there is only one $20 ticket price for each attendee, and a ticket is required to attend the event.

May I send in cash? No, all tickets must be purchased here via EventBrite.

When is the last day to purchase a ticket? The ticketing system will stop accepting ticket orders on January 31, 2023, to allow time for processing event monies, purchasing goodie bag items, securing additional supplies and ordering meals.

What if I really want to attend and the tickets are sold out? Please join the waitlist by sending your full name, cell phone, email and number of tickets to [email protected]

What if I am unable to attend? You will have the option to transfer your ticket to another St. Paul's family.

Are refunds available? No. Due to the prepaid costs to secure vendors, goodie bag supplies, prizes, meals and giveaways, we are unable to offer refunds.

Will you allow walk-ups? No, we are unable to accept walk-ups due to the required advance purchase of several items and a limited event capacity. We are expecting to sell out the event.
