2023 Johnson Family and Friends Reunion

Dear Family and Friends,

We are delighted to invite all of you to our upcoming Johnson Reunion. This event is an opportunity for us to come together to celebrate our shared bond and create memories that will last a lifetime. It’s time to reconnect with your roots and strengthen family ties. This reunion is a chance to catch up with family members you haven’t seen in a while, reminisce about old times, and spend quality time together.

The reunion will be filled with exciting fun-filled activities and opportunities to bond, there will be lots of games, sport activities, family feast, and other activities suitable for all ages. There will be a 50/50 raffle.

The event weekend is July 7-9, 2023:

• Friday, July 7th, 4 PM - 9 PM, Whitaker Gateway Park, Pavilion (lawn chair suggested) 1455 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34236
• Saturday, July 8th, 4 PM - 9 PM, Newtown Estates Park, Pavilion & Inside, 2800 Newtown Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34234
• Sunday, July 9th,11 AM - 2 PM, Brunch is optional, Location TBA

Event tickets include our festivities, dining, and 2023 reunion t-shirt. Deadline to secure your ticket is Saturday, June 10, 2023.

• Adult 16-75 yrs $60 per person
• Youth 6-15 yrs $35 per person
• Child 0-5 yrs Free (T-shirt sold separately)

Our ancestors, especially Alex Johnson and Ollie Mae Simmons, would be proud to see us continuing their legacy and ensuring that the family remains strong and united for generations to come.

We hope you will consider volunteering or donating your time towards our family reunion. Every little bit of help counts and can make a huge impact on our reunion. There are a lot of ways you can help, whether it's by offering to set up and decorate, assisting with registration or check-in, preparing food or beverages, or helping with activities during the reunion. We also welcome donations of any kind, whether monetary or in-kind, to help cover the costs of the Johnson Family and Friends Reunion.

We understand that everyone leads busy lives, but we hope that you will make the effort to attend this year's reunion. It would be great to see as many family members as possible, and this event will be a perfect opportunity for us to come together and create new memories.
