2023 Hurricane and Emergency Preparedness Briefing

Ensuring that our hurricane preparedness plans are current is more than just an exercise for Federal Agencies in the Gulf Coast Region.  These plans are mission essential tools that we are likely to use multiple times in any given hurricane season.  In concert with this mission critical focus, we must also focus on year round concerns over emergency communications and overall continuity of operations. This annual briefing is intended for agency leaders and personnel responsible for managing the emergency preparedness and continuity of operations for their agencies. We are privileged to have with us this year senior leadership from our local area and the districts/regions that many of you fall under in your respective organizations. They have graciously committed their time to this important information sharing event.
