As many as 1 million Americans live with Parkinson’s disease– that’s more than multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and Lou Gehrig’s disease combined. Approximately 60,000 Americans are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease each year, but there are thousands more whose disease goes undetected and yet Parkinson's is not a well-known, well supported disease in comparison.2023 Event
On March 25, 2023, the 10th Annual First Coast Parkinson’s 5K walk/run, 1 mile fun run, and a 5K Virtual Run is being held to raise money to provide increased resources and services to people with Parkinson's and their care partners in the First Coast Region of Florida.
