The Dormont Dash is a decades-long South Hills tradition, and one of the most challenging, hilly, and fun 5K races in the area! Presented by the Borough of Dormont Recreation Board, all proceeds from the 5K and 1-mile fun run will benefit the Keystone Oaks Education Association (KOEA) Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Whether you are a beginner runner looking for a challenge or an experienced runner wanting a warm-up run before the Great Race, the Dormont Dash is for you!
The 2023 race is sponsored by the Dormont Historical Society. The race begins and ends at the iconic Dormont Pool, and the course allows runners and walkers to enjoy the beauty of the park and the charming community of Dormont. All ages are welcome to participate so bring a friend, significant other, or the whole family to support a great cause!
Registrants will receive a custom Dormont Dash Finisher Medal and will have the option to purchase a commemorative short-sleeve performance t-shirt.
