2023 Diocese of Raleigh Centennial Eucharistic Congress

The Diocese of Raleigh Eucharistic Congress will occur on October 21, 2023, at the Raleigh Convention Center. The day will feature a Holy Hour, keynote speakers, vendors and exhibitors, breakout sessions, and Mass. The congress is the inaugural event for the Centennial Celebration of our diocese, which was founded on December 12, 1924.

Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama will begin the day by leading a Eucharistic Holy Hour. The congress will have three tracks: English, Spanish, and Youth. Bishop Stephen Parkes of Savannah will give the English keynote. The keynote in Spanish will be delivered by Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller, Archbishop of San Antonio. Speakers from The Vigil Project will provide the youth keynote.

Catholic vendors and exhibitors will be on hand to showcase religious goods, Catholic publications, and resources.

The afternoon breakout sessions include a variety of speakers from across the country who will help us to understand more and more the power of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and our call to be missionary disciples worldwide.

El Congreso Eucarístico de la Diócesis de Raleigh tendrá lugar el 21 de octubre de 2023 en el Centro de Convenciones de Raleigh. El día contará con una Hora Santa, oradores principales, vendedores y expositores, sesiones de trabajo y Misa. El congreso es el evento inaugural de la Celebración del Centenario de nuestra diócesis, que fue fundada el 12 de diciembre de 1924.

Mons. Luis Rafael Zarama comenzará la jornada presidiendo una Hora Santa Eucarística. El congreso tendrá tres opciones: inglés, español y jóvenes. El obispo Stephen Parkes de Savannah dará el discurso de apertura en inglés. El discurso de apertura en español estará a cargo del Arzobispo Gustavo García-Siller, Arzobispo de San Antonio. Los oradores de “The Vigil Project” brindarán el discurso principal de los jóvenes.

Los vendedores y expositores católicos estarán disponibles para exhibir artículos religiosos, publicaciones católicas y recursos.

Las sesiones de la tarde incluyen una variedad de oradores de todo el país que nos ayudarán a comprender más y más el poder de la Presencia Real de Cristo en la Eucaristía y nuestro llamado a ser discípulos misioneros en todo el mundo.
