The 2023 Citizen Summit is back and in person! The Citizen Summit is an annual event that allows residents to receive in-depth information about the City’s Strategic Plan and to provide input on the plan’s seven goals.
Summit events are not your typical meetings! The goal is to make it easy, and even fun, for residents to drop in and give feedback and connect with their city.
Residents of all ages are encouraged to drop by the Port St. Lucie Community Center, 2195 SE Airoso Blvd., on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon to give feedback at fun, interactive booths. Each booth will represent one of the City’s seven strategic goals.
Those who provide feedback will receive a free 2023 Citizen Summit T-shirt and other giveaways, while supplies last.
Other activities planned for this year’s event include:
+ Police Department speeding prevention simulator and virtual reality experience
+ Share ideas on new trails and regional parks coming soon to Port St. Lucie
+ Kid Zone
+ Outdoor playground
+ Selfie station
+ Complimentary refreshments
+ Entertainment showcasing St. Lucie County student talent
+ Learn about your NICE neighborhood and meet your neighbors
