2023 CGS Annual Membership Meeting

Please join us for the 2023 CGS Annual Membership Meeting. The meeting will begin at 10 AM, PST. During the meeting we will vote on the slate of nominees to the board and the 2023 budget. We will also review the 2022 activities and plans for 2023.

We'll recap the 2022 National Genealogical Society Conference. This successful annual convention was held in Sacramento in May and CGS was the host society. We'll also share our plans for 2023 celebration of the 125th anniversary of CGS's founding.

A limited number of attendees are welcome to join us in person in the CGS library, while others can join us on Zoom.

The CGS Library doors and the Zoom session will open at 9:30. CGS members are welcome to join early to socialize with other members.

For those attending in person: We are located in the historic Breuner Building at 22nd Street & Broadway, one block north of the Paramount Theater, in Uptown Oakland. We are just three blocks from the 19th Street BART Station. Further instructions will be included with your registration confirmation, including access to a parking permit in the lot behind our building. Masks are strongly recommended.

For those attending online: The event will take place via Zoom. If you join, please sign in early to make sure you are able to see the program.  We will send you instructions the night before, and a reminder shortly before the event, which will give you access. Our remote classes now have live closed captioning.

You do not have to have a Zoom account to attend a Zoom meeting. You will be prompted to download the software, once you have clicked on the link that you have been provided. You may also wish to create an account, but that is not required to participate in a Zoom meeting.
