On behalf of all of us at Cascade AIDS Project (CAP) & Our House, we would like to invite you to be part of the 35th annual Art Auction & After Party, a fabulous evening of art, community, and advocacy benefiting CAP + Our House. This year’s event theme, Surreal Soirée, is a celebration of the unconventional, unique, and imaginative.Surrealism at its core, seeks to challenge our assumptions of human experience. It balances a rational vision of life with one that relishes the power of the unconscious and dreams. Surreal artists explore magic, beauty, and wonder through the lenses of the unexpected, the uncanny, and the unconventional. Above all, the movement embodies a willingness to challenge imposed values and social norms in a quest for liberation and enlightenment.
In our work at CAP & Our House, we too seek to challenge the values and norms in our community. We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and affirming care community while simultaneously breaking down barriers to access. We envision a more inclusive and compassionate world together.
