2023 C-5 CORROSION PREVENTION ADVISORY BOARD ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Location – The Landings Conference Center, Davis-Monthan AFB Arizona

Dates - 23 - 25 May 2023

Purpose

The purpose of the 2023 C-5 CPAB is to provide a working level forum to support the resolution of Field and Depot level Corrosion Prevention and Control Program (CPCP) related issues and facilitate MAJCOM funding to support C-5 CPCP execution requirements.

The target audience is MAJCOM Corrosion Managers, Air Force Corrosion Prevention and Control Office, C-5 Program Depot Maintenance Planners and Corrosion Maintenance Experts, C-5 Aircraft Structural Integrity Program Manager and Field-level maintenance personnel to include Aircraft Structural Maintenance-Corrosion Control, Metals Technology, Crew Chiefs, Fuel Cell Subject Matter Experts and Quality Assurance personnel affiliated with structures that having a working knowledge of C-5 corrosion related problems/solutions.

CPAB Registration

All attendees are required to register in advance of the forum no later than 5 May 2023. This also is the last day to secure lodging. A reimbursable $25 landing fee will be collected the first day of the conference to cover snacks and refreshments.

Lodging

60 rooms have been blocked/reserved at the Heritage Inn, 3390 Craycroft Rd, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. Standard room rates are $94.00 a night. E-9, 0-6/above and GS-15 room rates are $101 a night. Deadline for reservations is 5 May 2023 at which time any remaining rooms will be unblocked.

Action Items/Briefings

MAJCOMs and a Field-Level representative from each C-5 base are expected to submit a C-5 CPAB Action Item and provide a briefing for discussion. Action Items briefings are to be submitted NLT 28 April 2023. Action Item briefings or questions concerning your briefing can be submitted to any of the following APC C-5 Corrosion Control Support Team members: [email protected] or [email protected]. Please limit briefings to 15 minutes.

Refreshments/Daily Lunch

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided daily. Information on local restaurants will be provided during the CPAB.

Dress Requirements

The official dress during the 2023 C-5 CPAB for all members of the Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and Active Duty is duty uniform. The official dress for all others is business casual.
