Remember how much fun you had as a kid?FREE ADMISSION! Rediscover life in small town America during Buchanan’s 69th annual Buchanan Community Carnival beginning Thursday, June 29th continuing through Saturday, July 8th, CLOSED on Sunday, July 2nd. Hours Open to the Public are 6:00pm – 11pm dependent on weather. Cole Amusement Rides Open 6:30 p.m. (The Carnival is closed on Sunday, July 2nd.) Any weather closures will be noted on the Town Facebook page. Explore our midway where you will find family oriented Games, Rides provided by Coles Amusements, and great Food including our signature “Carnival Burgers,” Petros, and, our world famous Fries!
Pet Policy – Visitors are requested to leave their pets at home during the Buchanan Community Carnival and Fourth of July Parade. The crowded events create an environment that is not conducive to our four legged friends. The safety of both you and your pet is important to us and we ask that all visitors adhere to this policy.
All you can Ride Wristbands are available every evening.
PLEASE NOTE: COLE AMUSEMENT PROVIDES THE RIDES FOR THE BUCHANAN COMMUNITY CARNIVAL. ANY INQUIRIES ABOUT RIDE POLICIES OR REFUNDS ARE HANDLED BY COLE AMUSEMENT.

Fireworks Displays – Tuesday, July 4th
The Buchanan Fireworks display is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4th.
If you wish to make a donation to help cover expenses, contact the Buchanan Town Hall at (540) 254-1212.
Buchanan Parade - Tuesday, July 4th with Line Up starting at 4:00 p.m. and the Parade beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Main Street closes at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, July 4th to allow for line up of the parade. The parade begins at 5:00 pm. This year’s parade will be led by the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Department.
Parade winners will be announced from Center Stage following the parade. Winners may pick up their trophies from the Carnival Office at the entrance of the Town Park.
