2023 Annual SAME Anchorage Post Banquet

This year’s Banquet will be held Saturday, March 25th, 2023, starting at 5:00 PM at the Egan Convention Center.  We are glad you can join us!

We are expanding out cocktail time to 2 ½ hours so all can partake in some fun at our casino and blackjack tables! During this time you can preview the Art and Adventure raffle items, buy tickets, listen to live jazz, and visit our new “Friends of SAME” tables hosted by various sustaining member firms. This event is all about comradery, supporting our talented engineering student scholarship recipients, and highlighting the great achievements of our active duty military members.

Dinner will follow the cocktail hour with an expanded menu including:

• Char-Grilled Hoisin Marinated Flank Steak with a Plum-Pesto Crust Finished with Tamarind Beef Jus
• AND Baked Alaska Halibut with Leeks & Cream Sauce topped with Crispy Fried Onions
• Fresh Thyme, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes
• Medley of Fresh Vegetables
• Orange and Thyme Beet Mixed Green Salad with Orange and Thyme Roasted Beets, Orange Sections, English Cucumbers, Ricotta Cheese, and Pine Nuts Served with White Balsamic Vinaigrette
• Choice of Carrot Cake or Bourbon Street Pecan Pie for Dessert
• Vegetarian option available

Proceeds of the evening will support the Benjamin B. Talley Scholarship Fund and Anchorage Post activities throughout the year.

• Dress:  Business Attire/Military Service Dress (Army four and hand tie)
