It's time for the annual Penn High School Theatre Penny Awards! (Think: The Tony's... but for Penn!)This year's theme is "Trip to the Movies," so come on out to your red carpet night on Tuesday, May 21 at 5:30 in the Studio Theater. No tickets are needed for this event.
We encourage (but don't require) everyone to dress to the 9s: formal wear, prom outfit, quinceañera, wedding guest... we see them all at the Penny's! Feel free to dress in a pop-culture inspired outfit, or just come as you are! (Still have your cool Barbenheimer outfit from last summer? Maybe you can bust it out one more time!)
Current students, families, guardians, friends, alumni, incoming PHS thespians, and neighbors are all welcome to this event in which we recognize the graduating class of 2024 in our Theatre department, as well as acknowledging the hard work of everyone in our Board, Club, classes, and productions with a number of awards.
We will also be announcing next year's season and the new Drama Board members!
