2022 Western Colorado Hero Classic Golf Tournament

Western Colorado believes in giving back to the heroes in our community. Join us at the 2022 Western Colorado Hero Classic Golf Tournament to help say THANK YOU to our First responders and Veterans, and their great service and dedication to the Grand Valley!

The funds raised through the golf tournament will benefit Veterans living at the Community Living Center, who are in need of shade kits to enjoy their outdoor patio area during the summers. The Community Living Center provides rehab and hospice care, and Veterans may reside there for short-term or long-term care. Veterans staying at the Center are typically at very high risk for contracting COVID-19 and have not been able to leave or have many visitors since March 2020. These shade kits would allow everyone to get out and enjoy the beautiful summer days, while the Center navigates trying to cultivate a fun and community-centered environment within the boundaries of the pandemic.

Donations from the tournament will also benefit the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing program, which needs furniture and other supplies to better support their homeless Veteran group.
