The Springfield area requires about two hundred blood donations a day to meet all the medical needs for blood products. In response to the high demand, this September 26th through 30th, Unity of Springfield is hosting a blood drive.Hours for donations are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can make your donation at the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. The CBCO is located at 220 W. Plainview Road in Springfield. Blood donors are encouraged to call (417) 227-5006 to schedule an appointment.
As a bonus, free T-shirts and tickets to Dickerson Park Zoo will be given to all donors while supplies last. Be sure to tell them that you are donating on behalf of Unity of Springfield.
