2022 Traditional May Day Bike Run

For two years the Traditional May Day Bike Run has been cancelled. Despite the threat of Armageddon, we are back!!! So I am calling all of my past rider mates and some new, to ride from Hastings to Locksbottom (near Orpington) and back to enjoy the full May Day Bike Run experience.We will meet at The Esso Garage in Sedlescombe Road North by Sainsbury’s Supermarket in Hastings and ride to The 1066 cafe at John’s Cross to pick up more riders then ride (at the speed limit, because loads of speedtraps) to Locksbottom near Orpington. Enjoy a bacon baguette and a brew, soak up the atmosphere then ride back from 9.30 to 10 am with thousands of fellow bikers, to arrive back in Hastings at approx. 12 noon. We have done it twice before and it was a great event. If you like, we can stop again at the 1066 Cafe, grab a beer and a burger to watch the hoards of bikes riding to Hastings. I did this twice it was great fun. Please join us.
