The 2022 Sufi Festival welcomes you to an extraordinary journey into the mystical and magnificent world of Sufism and the sacred realm of the soul; a two day music and arts spectacular showcasing the mystery and majesty of the ancient devotional practices of the Sufis. Experience the soul-stirring poetry of Rumi, the transcendent, soaring rhythms of the Qawwali, the ritual solemnity of the mesmerising Whirling ceremony, and gain insight into the philosophy and esoteric wisdom of one of the oldest living mystical traditions.

On Saturday 23rd July there will be a dedicated Sufi Conference starting at 3.00pm to 7.30pm with world renowned Sufi Scholars Shaykh Ahmed Saad al-Azhari and Shaykh Dr Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Ninowy, shedding light on the philosophy of the Sufi Tradition, the conference will close with a Nasheed performance by the classically trained Loves Pilgrim

Sunday 24th July will be a jam packed 12 hour day full of many performances, recitals, exhibitions and much much more!

Event for All Communities 

Types of Tickets

- General Admission ticket is FREE and provides access to the Sufi Festival across the Tramway and The Hidden Gardens during the weekend including the daytime performances and activities taking place on Sunday 24th July.

- Saturday 23rd July - Sufi Conference tickets provide access to the programme which includes talks by world renowned Sufi Scholars and an opportunity to see a performance by the Nasheed group Loves Pilgrim - tickets are priced as a donation, feel free to donate whatever pleases you (strictly limited numbers).

- Sunday 24th July - Evening Concert with over 2 hours Qawalli performance by the outstanding Shah e Mardan brought back by popular demand - see them in action at the 2019 Sufi Festival - this is a paid event with tickets costing only £15.00 (strictly limited numbers).

Can anyone come to this event?

This event is for all communities regardless of their background - everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Tramway & The Hidden Gardens are easiliy accessible with main bus links on Pollokshaws Road and next to the East Pollokshields Train Station (1 stop from Central Station, Glasgow).

Will the event be photographed/filmed?

Yes, there will be general photography and filming throughout the duration of the event.

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are non refundable

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

This would be very helpful and will allow us to check you in much quicker on arrival; you could have this available on your phone for scanning

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

We understand that sometimes things change, so feel free to share your ticket with someone else.
