2022 Put a Porch on it! LBZ Porch Fund Alumni Golf Outing

We are so excited to announce that we have initiated the process of RESTORING OUR ORIGINAL PORCH WITH ROOF. House Corporation has hired the services of an architect to scope out and design the new porch. The following phases will be: Determining the total cost of construction and then getting approval from The City of Newark. The FINAL step will be raising the funds to complete the project, where our formal Capital Campaign will be announced. Whether the funds are raised quickly or over a few years will depend on the support from our Alumni. But we figured our Golf Outing would be a perfect setting to hoping to announce this and show off our plans.

The event will be a 2 pm Shotgun Start Scramble Tournament with foursomes playing their best ball. Afterward, we will be having a BBQ dinner at the Country Club with non-alcoholic drinks included (cash bar for alcohol). We look forward to seeing you.

$175 per person for Golf and Dinner

$50 for non golfers who want DINNER ONLY.

If you CANNOT make it, please consider contributing in the following ways:

1) Sponsor a Hole for $250. We will make a custom sign with your name, Zeta #, and message

2) Sponsor an Active Brother: This will help subsidize an Active to play with us. $175 to play is pretty steep for a college student. Your contribution (IN ANY AMOUNT) will make it more affordable for them to take part and get to know us!

3) Straight Donation to the event: This will help in offsetting costs of the event and prizes. The remainder will be donated to Housing Corp's PORCH FUND.
