The Junior League of Northwest Arkansas' 7th annual Purple for a Purpose 5K and Fun Run is set for Saturday, October 22, 2022.The chip-timed race will start at 8:00am at Veterans Memorial Park in Fayetteville with the Fun Run/Walk to follow at 8:05am. The race course will run along the Lake Fayetteville trail and is stroller accessible. This year’s event will also include a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk perfect for kids and those who prefer a slower pace.
Out of town on Race Day? Work nights? Or just enjoy your sleep? We also have a Sleep In for a Purpose option!
This event will kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month for the region with the goals of educating Northwest Arkansas on the impact domestic violence has on our community and determining how we can work together to end it. Just as the JLNWA empowers the women within our league, we want to empower the community and domestic violence survivors to take a stand.
