2022 Purgatoire River & Graffiti & Community Annual Fall Cleanup

Come out for free food and drinks and good company while also getting to help clean up your river and community!

Join us Saturday Oct 1 from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM for an exciting multi-partner river and community cleanup extravaganza! Purgatoire Watershed Partnership (PWP) and Trout Unlimited/Purgatoire River Anglers are joining forces with the Trinidad Community Foundation (TCF) and the City of Trinidad to expand our annual fall river cleanup event into a river trash cleanup + river graffiti cleanup + community wide cleanup extravaganza!!

Since much of the trash that gets washed into the river originates on our City streets, we are so excited this year to combine our Purgatoire River Annual Fall Cleanup event with Trinidad Community Foundation's Community Cleanup event (think Comcast Cares Day)! This way we are cleaning up our community streets AND our river at the same time!! PLUS Talitha Gillespie of the City of Trinidad is spearheading graffiti cleanup along the river on the same day for an amazing trifecta of cleanup!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

*Preregistration is not required, but please do so if possible! Trinidad Community Foundation's Community Cleanup folks are running registration, and would like a head count prior to the event if possible. REGISTRATION LINK COMING SOON!

8-9 AM Meet at Phil Long Toyota to check in/register, get your free breakfast snacks and drinks, pick up cleanup gear, and decide whether you want to help with river cleanup, graffiti cleanup/painting, or community-wide cleanup (there will be check in stations for all 3 options).

9 AM Head out on your cleanup mission with your chosen group!

9:00-11:30 AM Cleanup happens!

11:30 AM Head back to Phil Long Toyota for free lunch, prizes, and other goodies!
