2022 NoMi Music Festival

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and dancing shoes to NoMi Music Fest, formally known as Music in the Plaza.

Every February, the City of North Miami hosts this highly anticipated signature old school music event! It is an unforgettable night featuring live performances, a DJ spinning your favorite old school hits, food and friends gathered under the stars of North Miami. In past years, NoMi Music Fest has featured a line-up of old school Hip Hip and R&B artists such as Monica, Ceelo Green, Jagged Edge, Case, 112, and Dru Hill.

The music festival will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Cagni Park (13498 NE 8th Avenue in North Miami, FL). Tickets start at $20. Tickets will be $30 at the door on event date. All funds collected will benefit the City of North Miami's Emergency Utilities Assistance Program.

NoMi Music Fest FAQ

What is the seating arrangement for NoMi Fest? Front Row, VIP, Prime & Reserved sections have reserved seats. General Admission is lawn seating, that is not reserved and you may bring your own blanket or lawn chair.

Can I bring coolers, food, or beverage in the NoMi Music Fest? A variety of food and beverage will be for sale at the NoMi Music Fest. No personal coolers, food or beverage is allowed in the event.

Where is parking for the NoMi Music Fest? Parking is located at 791 NE 135 Street (the corner of 135 Street & NE 9 Ave)

What happens if it rains? The NoMi Music Fest is a rain or shine event.

Can I purchase tickets on-site for the event? All early bird tickets must be purchased through the Eventbrite link. General admission tickets will be $30 on-site for the event.

What is the pet policy? Although we love our fury friends, NO pets will be allowed at the NoMi Music Fest.

Is there re-entry? No re-entry is permitted.

Are tickets refundable? Tickets are non-refundable.

Can I bring my own chair? Yes, general sized lawn chairs are allowed in the General Admission section.

Can I bring an umbrella? Yes, small umbrellas are allowed in the event.

Covid-19 protocols will be followed. Masks are encouraged

Bag Policy - In order to expedite entry into the event and to continue to promote the safety of employees, crew, NoMi Fest goers and others, there is a limit on the size and type of bag that may be brought into the venue. It is encouraged not to bring bags to the event, the items outlined below are permissible:

• Bags made of clear plastic, clear vinyl or clear PVC, which do not exceed 13”x17” in size.
• One-gallon clear zip-top bag.
• Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand either with or without a handle or strap is allowed.
• “Fanny-pack(s)” or similar waist-packs will be allowed.
• Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis for medically required items after proper inspection.

All final decisions will be made by security at the gates.
