7:30 AM - On-site registration opens
9:30 AM - Tournament begins
1:00 PM - Competitor check-in closes
Food trucks will be on-site from 11 AM - 6 PM
Competitor registration:
$40 at the door. Pre-registration $30 (read below for quick pre-registration info).
FREE T-shirt to the first 200 competitors to check-in.
Ringside Coach registration:
$10 online pre-register with paypal, or

There are two ways you can pre-register; you can send a mail-in registration, or you can register online.
Mail-in registration: Print out the registration form, fill it out, and send payment (cash or check) along with the form to mailing address:

12:00 PM: Sword and Samurai by Mike Yamasaki and Darin Furukawa
2:00 PM: Karate by Sakura Kokumai
Olympian Sakura Kokumai will be teaching a seminar on karate conditioning and kata. Please note that the seminar will be on a large outdoor cement patio at the Terasaki Budokan in Little Tokyo. Bring proper footwear, extra water and sunscreen just in case. The area may be partially shaded at the time of the seminar.
The Samurai sword and armor seminar is in a room with a capacity of 30 people. Reservations are required and will be granted to the first 30 people that respond. Please email your reservations to Rod Kuratomi at: [email protected].
The cost is free for the seminars for tournament competitors that pre-register. The cost for non-competitors is $15 which gives you access to both seminars for the low fee made possible by sponsor donations.
