Millikin alum Joel Kim Booster is a Chicago-bred, Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, writer and actor. Named one of “The Queer YoungComics Redefining American Humor” by The New York Times, Joel starred in the rom-com “Fire Island,” which the AV Club called an “instant classic.” The film, which Joel also wrote, is an unapologetically modern twist on Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.” His hourlong Netflix special “Psychosexual” premiered in June 2022 and takes an unaltered look at identity, sexuality and cultural expectations. He currently stars on the Apple TV+ series “Loot,” playing Maya Rudolph’s quirky assistant.
Ticket & Show Information:
Each Millikin student will receive one (1) free ticket for the Goodheart Event. Students may purchase additional tickets for $10 each. Tickets for students, faculty and staff go on sale Sept. 20, 2022. Tickets will go on sale to the public Sept. 27 — $15 for alumni, $20 for the general public.
