The DRAFT HORSES will be stomping and shaking the ground starting on October 7th this year! Come to Perry for the Georgia National Fair and experience the excitement of the Georgia National DRAFT HORSE SHOW! The GNF Draft Horse Show is a North American Class "C" All-American Qualifier, a Belgian Merit Show, and part of the North American Six Horse Hitch & Classic Cart Series with a full lineup of Show Hitch, Halter, Driving, Riding, & Pleasure Classes!
• Halter classes by breed/age/gender with Supreme Halter Champion
• Men’s & Ladies Cart by breed with Supreme Champion Cart
• Youth and Adult Pleasure Driving & Show Cart classes
• English & Western Under Saddle classes
• Separate classes for Light Drafts/Crosses
• Friday Fun Classes including Obstacle Courses & Barrel Racing
• Classic Series & Peach State 6-Horse Hitch classes pay out equally for 1st thru 10th place!
• 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place trophies & ribbons awarded for Best Decorated Stall
• Exhibitor's Dinner Party Saturday evening after the show!
SPECIAL AWARDS will be presented in honor and memory:
• Ken Janes Memorial Trophy awarded to winner of Men’s Supreme Cart class.
• Renon Pruiett Memorial Trophy awarded to winner of Four-Horse Hitch class.
• Karen McQueen Memorial Trophy awarded to winner of HD Pleasure Driving.
• Rebecca Cannon Under Saddle Achievement Award given to winner in each HD-S Adult Walk/Trot Under Saddle class (English & Western).
• Tom Johnson Sportsmanship Award
• Pia Johansson/Kim Smith Memorial Youth Challenge Awards (High-Point Competition)
