2022 Florida Corgi Picnic

The 2022 Florida Corgi Picnic will be held on November 5th at the Dog Leg Canine Dog Park in Palmetto Florida. This is an annual fundraising event to benefit Corgi Aid and Sunshine Corgi Rescue. Must register to attend!

What began as a small gathering of corgi owners over 20 years ago; has grown into an annual event drawing corgi owners from Florida and around the U.S. together to benefit CorgiAid. The event is accomplished with the help of many dedicated volunteers. The picnic is for Welsh Corgis, Corgi mixes and their humans! (Sorry we must limit it to Corgis only) While there were just a few folks in the beginning; attendance has grown to hundreds of Corgis and their people. Sunshine Corgi Rescue graciously took the reigns in 2022 following the retirement of Celeste Militzer Howard. The funds raised provide carts for Corgis with mobility issues through CorgiAid; as well as funding for Sunshine Corgi Rescue.

Picnic events include corgi races, raffle prizes, contests for best trick and costumes, and a live auction. In addition to registration, we ask that attendees bring corgi or dog related items for the auction. In lieu of items for the auction, you can make a cash donation at the entry gate.
