2022 Dartmouth Family Weekend

Family Weekend, is planned by a students in partnership with the Collis Center and Student Involvement with the Office of Family Giving & Engagement.  The weekend offers an excellent opportunity for parents, families, and supporters to enjoy Hanover and experience the Dartmouth that your student has come to know.

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about registration: 

Q: HOW MUCH IS REGISTRATION?

A: General registration is free and most events for this weekend are also free. PLEASE NOTE: in order to attend many of the events, you will need your name badge (which you can pick up at our Welcome Center).

Free on-site registration will also be available but pre-registration is encouraged. Please note that other campus departments may be hosting events that require a paid ticket (i.e. productions at the Hopkins Center, canoe rentals, etc.). The schedule will specify which events have an additional cost.

Q: HOW MANY FAMILY MEMBERS MAY ATTEND?

A: There is no limit. The more the merrier!

Q: DO I NEED TO REGISTER MY DARTMOUTH STUDENT?

A: No need - your Dartmouth student can attend all Family Weekend-sponsored events without a name badge.

Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND?

A: Yes, children are welcome, but childcare services are not provided.

Q: WHAT DO I NEED FOR CHECK IN?

A: You just need yourself and your family! As long as you've received a confirmation email from Eventbrite after completing your registration, you're all set. When you arrive, we will mark you as here and provide your party with a registration packet and name tag lanyards, which will function as you and your family's 'tickets' into most events.   Check In will be available at our Welcome Center in the Collis Center Friday (5/1) from 11am-8pm and on Saturday (5/2) from 8am-12pm.  

Q: WILL ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES BE PROVIDED?

A: Please contact us ([email protected] or 603-646-3399) for any special arrangements you may need.  In order to ensure the best experience for all attendees, please try to let us know by April 19 in order to ensure everything is ready for your arrival.
