2022 Colorado SFST Instructor In-Service (Durango)

The Highway Safety Office at CDOT announces the 2022 SFST Instructor and Drug Recognition Expert continuing education (In-Service) dates. The classes will be separated into distinct training days for each discipline. Please make sure to sign up for the appropriate day for your required training.

Locations for the training include: Sterling, Denver (TBD), Pueblo, Durango, and Rifle. Each venue has different capacities so register early. If you decide to cancel your attendance, please go into Eventbrite and cancel your seat as space will be limited.

We will comply with the State of Colorado health requirements. If due to extenuating circumstances the in-person classes are restricted, we will move the training to a virtual platform if possible. The training will be held on the same day under either circumstance.

The training outline is under construction and will include sessions provided by our partners from the CBI Forensic Laboratory, Colorado District Attorneys’ Council and the Colorado Department of Transportation. Please watch the Colorado Impaired Driving Newsletter for program updates.

This training will satisfy the 8-hour requirement of bi-yearly updated education for SFST Instructors and Drug Recognition Experts. You are encouraged to attend this training even if you have completed the video training option offered in 2021. Certificates will be provided by email after the event.
