The seventh annual Brain Bolt 5K run/walk/wheel will be held at the Carmel Gazebo at Civic Square in Carmel on Saturday, October 1. This year’s race will once again benefit the Neurosurgery Foundation at Goodman Campbell and their work to research, treat and care for patients with traumatic brain and spine injuries.
At this year’s Brain Bolt 5K, we’re adding an accessible route to create a more inclusive environment in addition to the traditional 5K route. Registration for all participants includes a t-shirt, medal, and bib. Early bird registration runs through August 14, registration fees will increase on August 15—be sure to sign up early! Packet pick-up will be on:
Monday, September 26th: 4:00pm-6:00pm
Tuesday, September 27th: 11:00am-1:00pm
Wednesday, September 28th: 4:00pm-6:00pm
Thursday, September 29th: 4:00pm-6:00pm
Friday, September 30th: 11:00am-1:00pm
The in-person event will feature food and drink trucks from Samanos, JavaHouse, and BierBrewery, vendor booths, the Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine Mega Brain—an interactive, walk-through exhibit—and more. Please see below for day-of schedule of events:
9 a.m. Packet pick-up, registration, and vendor booths open
9:45 a.m. Opening ceremony
10 a.m. Race begins
