Due to problems beyond our control, neither the BAMA cheerleaders, Big Al nor the Pep Band will be attending this year; however, we'll still have an MC playing recorded BAMA fight songs, so y'all come!!

Join fans from all over the Crimson Nation in cheering on the team in the heart of Big Orange Country, as you cruise on a riverboat through the Volunteer Navy gathered on the Tennessee River just across from Neyland Stadium. Due to the unforeseen issue with the cheerleaders, Big Al and the pep band, the University of Alabama National Alumni Association is hoping to get a number of former BAMA football players to attend the cruise and mingle with our fans.

Free Blue Moon and Bud Light beer for those of age, soft drinks and bottled water for the rest, and crunchy snacks. Cash bars will also be open. You can get barbeque box dinners for $6.00.

About the most fun a Bama fan can have in Knoxville. Except for when we “go, roll to victory” the next day.

We'll have a "50/50" raffle which will give the winner of the raffle half of the money collected from the sale of the raffle tickets. The other half of the money will go towards scholarships. Individual tickets will be sold for $3 with the option to purchase 4 tickets for $10 and 10 tickets for $20.

The Tennessee Riverboat Company that hosts our event shares a parking lot with a very popular restaurant, Calhoun's. The evening of our event, this lot will fill up by 4:30 p.m. So, we recommend parking at either of the following:

1. Dwight Kessel Metropolitan Parking Garage - located at 900 State Street, Knoxville, TN 37902. Parking is free after 6:00 p.m. Rates before then are $1/half-hour up to $7max/day. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Riverboat. From the garage, walk down to Hill Ave and take a right. Then walk down to Walnut St and take a left which will lead you to the bridge that crosses Neyland Dr and takes you over to the Volunteer Landing area. The Riverboat is located past Calhoun's at the far end of the Landing.

2. Sun Trust Bank parking lot - located at 700 E Hill Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37915. We offer a free shuttle from this parking lot to the Riverboat and back. The shuttle will begin at 5:45 p.m. and will continue until about 6:45 p.m. It runs about every 10 minutes. The return shuttle will begin shortly after the cruise has returned to the dock and will continue until all patrons have been served. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Riverboat, so if you prefer to walk, we recommend parking at the Dwight Kessel Metropolitan Parking Garage. The following are directions to the free parking lot:

Directions from I-40 E or W:  Take exit 388A and follow James White Parkway to Hill Avenue Exit. Turn right and go approximately 100' to access the parking lot on right.Directions from Neyland Dr.: Going east on Neyland Dr, take the Hall of Fame Drive Exit and turn right on Hall of Fame Drive. Go approximately 100 yards and turn left onto Hill Avenue. Then go approximately 1/2 mile to parking lot on left.Directions from Downtown Knoxville: Take W. Summit Hill Avenue to Hill Avenue and turn right. Follow Hill Avenue for about 1 1/2 miles to parking lot on the right.
