About this Event
The (SDAs) is a global competition open to all higher education students that’s been running since 1924.
We challenge students and recent graduates from all disciplines to tackle pressing social and environmental issues using their skillsets.
Join us online to hear from the SDA Team and our partners about the 2022-23 RSA briefs, new developments to the programme, and the support we offer educators and students.
This will be a joint virtual session on Zoom introducing Brief 1: All being well and Brief 6: Building better.
Brief 1: All being well asks "How might we democratise health and wellbeing; creating the conditions and tools for individuals to help themselves, their loved ones and multiple generations?"
What are the social determinants of health? How do we define wellbeing and how can interventions help us improve it for all?
Brief 6: Building better asks "How might we apply circular and regenerative principles to build better homes for a resilient future?"
Current building practices are carbon intensive and account for 11% of all human-caused emissions on the planet. How can we build differently while meeting the housing needs of the future?
Join the session to find out more!
