2021 Blessing of the Animals

First UMC is pleased to present the Annual Blessing of the Animals! This year we offer Drive Thru car blessings in the loading zone area in front of the Sanctuary, and also Walk-Up blessings in the First UMC Courtyard. We’ll also collect pet supplies for a local pet shelter, have a Memorial Wall, and arts and crafts for the kids. Bring your pets for this beloved annual tradition! We hold this year’s event in memory of Nancy Perov, former First UMC office manager, who conceived and organized the first Blessing of the Animals 15 years ago.
If you can’t make it on Saturday, attend Zoom coffee hour after worship on Sunday, October 3, at 11 a.m., for an online blessing.
In-Person Blessings: Saturday, October 2, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the First UMC Courtyard
