One of the Best Air Shows in America (as voted by USA Today 10Best Readers) returns in 2021 to Battle Creek. The 2021 Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival will take place June 30th-July 4th at Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field. The 2021 Event comes after a one year hiatus due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.The 2021 Event promises to be a good time and it will help us build for the future. The event will feature the United States Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team in their ONLY Michigan Appearance in 2021. An amazing supporting cast of acts will also join the F-22 during America's Favorite 4th of July Air Show.
But that's not all...we'll also have one of the largest Twilight & Night Air Shows in the Nation, Daily Hot-Air Balloon Launches, Two Fireworks Displays, Balloon Illumes, "Rocketman", Concerts, Skerbeck Carnival, Amazing Food Vendors, Kids Day & MORE! Admission & Parking Pricing:
-Wednesday, June 30th: FREE ADMISSION! Parking is $10 per car load
-Thursday, July 1st: $10 Admission per person. Parking is $5 per vehicle
-Friday, July 2nd: $10 Admission per person. Parking is $5 per vehicle
-Saturday, July 3rd: $10 Admission per person. Parking is $5 per vehicle
-Sunday, July 4th: $10 Admission per person. Parking is $5 per vehicle

Gate Times
-Wednesday, June 30th: Gates Open at 5 PM and close at 10 PM
-Thursday, July 1st: Gates Open at 3:30 PM and close at 11 PM
-Friday, July 2nd: Gates Open at 11 AM and close at 11 PM
-Saturday, July 3rd: Gates Open at 11 AM and close at 11 PM
-Sunday, July 4th: Gates Open at 11 AM and close at 11 PM
As a reminder, no loitering or viewing from parking lots; No Glass Bottles or Alcoholic Beverages are permitted. Coolers ARE allowed, but will be inspected. Field of Flight will sell alcoholic beverages at the beer tents to those 21 and older (must have proper and valid ID). All scheduled activities/events are "weather permitting" and take place at the Battle Creek Executive Airport. NO RAIN CHECKS OR REFUNDS. We do not accept Credit Cards in th Parking Lots or at the Gates: ATM is available at the Main Gate.
With COVID-19, our event must maintain restrictions; Face Coverings must be worn while walking around the grounds. It is not permissible to walk around eating or drinking with your face covering or mask off. While sitting in your area, you may remove your face covering. Please respect other peoples space. AIR SHOW: Our 2021 Air Show will run Friday July 2nd through Sunday, July 4th. This Air Show, which is America's Favorite 4th of July Air Show, will take place from 12:30 to 5:30 PM (waiver times, it is possible we may push back the start of the show OR end early) and will feature:

*BONUS TEASER AIR SHOW: We'll be having what we are calling an "Air Show Warm Up" on Thursday, July 1st from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. This will feature skydiving, skywriting and more!
One of the Nation's LARGEST Twilight & Night Air Shows will take place on Friday, July 2nd beginning at 8:30 PM. The show will kick-off with "Rocketman" Ignacio Valencia being fired out of a cannon. From there, some of the best acts in the air show industry will take to the skies as the sun continues to set. Once things get dark, then everything really "takes off". Don't miss a magical experience like no other as planes take to the skies with colorful lights, aerial pyro, fireworks and more!
Our Night Air Show will feature:
-Ken Rieder "Redline Airshows" with wingtip pyro
-AFTERSHOCK JET FIRE TRUCK Night Run, illuminating a cloud of smoke and spitting out large flames
-Misty Blues All-Woman Skydiving team with sparks, pyro & glowing.
-Bob Carlton "Fire & Lights" in the Jet Super Salto...featuring lights, pyro, aerial launched fireworks and more!
-Nathan Hammond "GhostWriter" Night Air Show: Over 200 pounds of pyro, illuminating LED lights, sparks, fireworks and aerial bursts of color.
We'll also have Daily Hot-Air Balloon Launches (either launching from the field or flying in to the field) featuring up to 40 Balloons taking place every evening with a target time of 7 PM (but can shift either way due to weather). Morning Launches will not take place when gates are open and will not take place at the airport.
On the evening of Wedneday, June 30th and Saturday, July 3rd (beginning at 8:45 PM) we will be having the Mesmerizing Balloon Illumes (presented by KALSEE Credit Union). This is another magical evening event that features numerous hot-air balloons as they glow against the twilight sky. It even includes some audience participation to where you can help the balloon glow or twinkle.
Of course, we'll be having TWO FIREWORKS Displays as well. The first one will be on Thursday, July 1st (with a rain date of July 2nd) and, of course, we'll be having one on the 4th of July (no rain date scheduled). Make sure you catch one of these shows.
Skerbeck Entertainment Group Carnival returns for 2021. With rides from mild to wild, this is an amazing place to spend some time. Make sure you purchase your ride wristbands in advance to save $$ and time.
Ignacio "Rocketman" Valencia will perform DAILY. He will be shout out of a cannon at speeds up to 55 mph while soaring through the beautiful Battle Creek sky. Check the schedule of events for times. He may even participate during air show hours. Who knows?
