Dear DSO Audiences,

The Delta Symphony Orchestra continues to be committed to the safety of our patrons, performers and staff. We have all gone through a difficult period and we must continue to be community minded while Arkansas endures yet another difficult period. No one wants to return to a shutdown and we must all do our part to prevent that from happening. We encourage those in our community who have not been vaccinated to do so.

Delta Symphony Orchestra will require PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION (final dose of the vaccine was at least two weeks prior to the date of performance) or PROOF OF A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST WITHIN 72 HOURS (for those who are ineligible due to age for the vaccine) for all audience members attending performances of RAGTIME (October 16-17). Per the latest guidance from the CDC, we also encourage all those who are vaccinated to wear masks as an extra precaution when inside the theater, unless actively eating or drinking. Masks will be available free of charge at all performances.

(SINCE OUR OPENING FUNDRAISER EVENT IS OUTDOORS ON SEPTEMBER 25TH, PROOF OF VACCINATION WILL NOT BE REQUIRED, BUT MASKS WILL, UNTIL YOU ARE SEATED WITH YOUR GROUP)

Those who have a medical or religious exemption will be required to wear a mask for the duration of your visit to the Delta Symphony Orchestra.

The performing arts are an important part of our community, not any different from seeing a movie, a concert or a sports game. Let's all do what we can to bring an end to this pandemic!

Helpful Notes
*Valid proof of vaccination includes an original vaccination card, a digital copy, or a photograph of one's COVID-19 vaccination record. Lost cards can be easily replaced wherever one received their vaccination or by calling the Arkansas Department of Health at 501-661-2000.

*DSO will have masks available free of charge. Hand Sanitizer is available throughout the theater. DSO's facility is cleaned and sanitized before and after each performance.

*DSO instrumentalists, vocalists, crew and staff are fully vaccinated.

*The restrooms are cleaned and sanitized before and after every performance.

*We encourage you to stay at home if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

*In the 20 months since our last in-person performance of the Delta Symphony Orchestra we have repeatedly been reminded of the need for the shared experience of the performing arts. In order to provide that experience in the safest possible way, we feel that these restrictions are necessary and prudent. If any current ticket holder does not wish to comply with these requests, we will gladly refund your ticket purchase. Email [email protected] to make changes to your reservation.

*This policy will be revisited for future performances and announcements will be made as needed.

*The DSO Board reserves the right to make changes to this policy according to recommendations from the CDC or new directives from federal, state, or local government.

*A similar policy will be in effect for the DSO CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

We appreciate your cooperation as we work to return to in-person performance as safely as possible.

Sincerely,

The Delta Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors
