Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, one of the prolific reformers of Indian society, was born this day in the year 1820.
Kolkata Explorers is pleased to present a curated trip based on our research to show you the residences, working places and the contributions of stalwarts of Bengal Renaissance. Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, Raja Rammohon Roy, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose and the Ray family. Their thoughts and actions have left an indelible mark in our Indian society for the betterment of generations to come. The areas of old Simla, Badurbagan and Garpar in the north of the city.
Our tour starts from Raja Rammohon Roy Museum on 85A, Raj Rammohon Sarani, Kolkata 700009 at 10am. Refreshments and tea will be on the way. The tour will end at Garpar. This is entirely a Walking Tour.
