July 10, 2021 marks the 200th Anniversary of Florida becoming a United States Territory. To commemorate this occasion, the City of St. Augustine, in partnership with St. Johns County, University of Florida Historic St. Augustine, the Florida National Guard, and Historic Florida Militia will present a series of special events that are free of charge and open to the public.

Saturday, July 10:
* 11:00am in front of the Governor’s House Museum, “Act of Transfer” Ceremony
* Immediately following the “Act of Transfer” Ceremony, the viewing public is invited to march behind the living history interpreters to the Florida National Guard Parade Grounds for the “Change of Flags” ceremony
