About This Event

Four preeminent scholars from the American Real Estate Society’s Fall Meeting at Harvard will discuss the future of real estate as an academic discipline and examine the forces reshaping the industry. Topics include the impact of AI and PropTech on the built environment, the implications of higher-for-longer interest rates, the relationship between design priorities and development economics, whether the office sector is undergoing a structural reset, whether power access is the new zoning weapon, how climate risk and insurance retreat are affecting property values, and the influence of geopolitical risk on global real estate capital flows.
