It all started in 1824 - Britain's first bus service was started, by local tollkeeper John Greenwood, between Pendleton and Manchester. So to celebrate the bicentenary we're running a series of amazing events through this year to mark 200 years of buses.
This event is Orange Times, looking at the 'orange' period in the 1970s and 1980s. There'll be special displays and free heritage bus rides using buses from our amazing collection plus some of our friends.
Look at our website https://motgm.uk for more details including free heritage bus service timetables.
As with all our events, please come by public transport. You'll find our free heritage bus timetable at https://motgm.uk showing that we connect with Shudehill Interchange, Corporation Street (for Victoria station) and Queens Road Metrolink stop.
