Have you been thinking about becoming a yoga teacher or taking your yoga practice to the next level? Even if you are not planning to teach, yoga teacher training can be a profoundly transformative personal journey—a way to grow yourself using the guiding principles of ancient yogic philosophy. Teach Yoga, Touch Hearts is a compassion-based training infusing the teachings of yoga with both Eastern and Western perspectives. Join us for our 6 month YTT beginning in January 2025. Details and dates below!In this training, you will:
*Be guided through self-inquiry and learning techniques to become more present and compassionate toward yourself and others.
*Learn Pranayama (Breath Control) practices and how to instruct them safely to others
*Learn to compassionately guide yoga classes designed for ANY body, through the study and practice of asanas (yoga postures) with an emphasis on safety, breath and mindfulness.
*Study yogic philosophies and principles: The Eight Limbs of Yoga, Yoga Sutras, Yamas and Niyamas, Chakras, the Koshas and more to guide your life and enrich your classes.
*Learn the power of Mantras and Mudras. You will learn to chant some shlokas in Sanskrit.
*Gain knowledge and resources to help you enhance your self-practice and teach authentic yoga classes.
*Discuss the “business” of yoga, and learn techniques to be empowered as a teacher.
Class Schedule:
We meet one weekend a month for extended hours that will include part of Fridays and full days on Saturdays and Sundays.
Fridays: 2pm to 8pm
Saturdays: 8am to 6pm
Sundays: 8am to 6pm
January 11 (9am to 5pm) - Intro to Yoga practice, Meet and Greet
January 17 to 19
February 14 to 16
March 14 to 16
April 11 to 13
May 16 to 18
June 6 to 8
Graduation on Saturday, June 14, 9am to 5pm
Yoga Teacher Training Pricing:
Full price: $3250
Early bird price by 10/1: $3050
To Register:
A $500 deposit required at registration or upon full payment. Deposit is non-refundable.
Early Bird Discount:
Register by 10/1/24 with a $500 non refundable deposit and receive $200 off your full payment or first monthly payment if opting for Payment Plan.
Payment Plan Available:
After your $500 registration deposit, make 3 payments at the beginning of each month following your registration leading up to the start of the program. All payments must be paid in full by January 10, 2025.
