Begin or continue your path toward inner peace and everyday contentment with this special teacher training opportunity with True North Yoga in 2024. Our Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training programs are staffed by experienced teachers in both modern and traditional approaches to yoga. The TNY 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program meets one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month for a total of 8 weekends. Take a deep dive into the embodiment of yoga and use the knowledge gained to teach others or continue your personal practice. Both are supported and honored.
Students will immerse into a breadth of restorative centered practices including Restorative yoga, Yin yoga and multiple Meditation methods and tools.

Student Teachers will learn:
Meditation techniques and practices
Yin Yoga
Restorative Yoga
Breathwork Level 1 (pranayama)
Tantra, Yoga, Samkhya and Vedanta philosophy
Yoga history
Reiki Level 1/2 Certification
Self inquiry practices and defining life intentions
Learning how to apply yogic science and philosophy to create real change in your life
Mantra, Mudra and Sanskrit
Biomechanics for safe teaching
Anatomy and physiology
Teaching methodology and sequencing classes
Subtle anatomy with emphasis on the chakras
Business of Yoga and much more!
200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training dates:
November 1st: Welcome Ceremony 6-7:30PM
November 2-3: Reiki Level 1/2
December 7-8: Resilience and Wellbeing: The Psychology of Human Behaviour
January 18-19: Yoga Philosophy, History and Meditation
February 22-23: Ayurveda: Living Life in Balance
March 14-16: Yoga Nidra Meditation
April 5-6: Restorative Yoga
April 18-20: Breathwork Level 1
May 3-4: Yin Yoga 1
May 17-18: Yin Yoga 2
Hours: Saturday 9AM – 4PM and Sunday 9:30AM – 3PM (some weekends might include Friday night 6-9PM)
Cost: $3500 (monthly payments available)
Enroll by paying $500 deposit toward the total amount due. Receive unlimited classes after deposit is paid.

This training is a wonderful opportunity for yoga students, meditation students, counselors, teachers, business professionals, mental health therapists and anyone who would like to experience more balance and equanimity in their life.
Reserve your spot by paying the $500 deposit (applied to the total tuition). After paying the deposit, student teachers receive an unlimited yoga pass (start using it today!). This pass will be valid throughout the length of the training. All weekend learning modules are in-person at True North Yoga. Our program is recognized by Yoga Alliance.
