Dublin club night Big Dish Go (BDG) celebrates an incredible 20 years of shaping Ireland's underground music scene with an unmissable event at Centre Point. Mark your calendars for this milestone as two heavyweights join forces in the crusade to prove that electronic music is so much more than a one-dimensional soundtrack for a night on the lash! David Holmes and Ivan Smagghe take to the decks back-to-back all night long.David Holmes is a name synonymous with innovation in music, a cornerstone of not only the Irish scene but also the best of electronic sounds worldwide, from productions and collaborations with indie electronica heroes Primal Scream and Orbital, to scoring Hollywood blockbusters and his eagerly anticipated forthcoming posthumous album with Ireland's queen of taking no shit, Sinead O’Connor.
To fans and patrons of BDG, Ivan Smagghe, a former six-year resident, hardly needs an introduction. Ivan has been diligently subverting the masses in dens of iniquity across the globe. From his most recent DJ project, ‘Dresden’ with Manfredas, to co-founding their More Dresden Festival (now entering its 3rd year in Vilnius, Lithuania), Ivan continues to redefine electronic music’s boundaries. It's always a wild ride when Ivan is in the booth, and his unique and obscure selections, delivered with his technical wizardry, never fail to cause mayhem on club dance floors and festivals worldwide.
