The plan is to have the reunion at Cherry Festival Beer tent on Tuesday July 7th from Noon-3. Group photo at 2pm.
Reasoning here is…
1. There is already a tent and plenty of chairs and tables
2. People can buy their own drinks and food on site so no need for a true head count for catering
3. There are games to play at the beer tent as well as everything else cherry festival has to offer.
4. Plenty of parking
5. It’s a time of the year when most people come back to TC to visit.
6. People can easily make plan from there for after the reunion, whether pub crawl, dinner, whatever.
I contacted Cherry festival and they confirmed we can have signs and a check in desk with name tags. They just need to confirm they have the adequate staff for that time but sounds like it won’t be an issue.
I contacted Central Highschool and have a full list of seniors in 2006. My self and Jenny Lemanski (Majszak) will be going through the list and sending personal messages as well as inviting people to this group.
One issue Is name changes or people not being on Facebook. So if you see we missed anyone please invite them to the group. I want to make sure everyone possible is invited to this.
