Modern West Coast Swing lessons begin fifteen minutes after the 2-step lesson. Why do we include other types of dance? Greensboro Westies encourages connection with the broader dance community, helping you to become a well-rounded dancer who can improvise. Modern West Coast Swing is danced to most genres of music, plus draws from many dance disciplines. What can emerge when someone knows various dances is precise, controlled yet fluid technique, more creative movement, and inspiring musicality.
