Learning basic sewing skills is a fun and easy way to equip young people with practical knowledge and experience, and inspire creativity that can last a lifetime.This workshop is running from 10:00am-1:00pm on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th August, and is suitable for 11-18 year olds.
The clothes we wear can be an important part of who we are, and can allow us to express our own individuality. We can help you find your own unique style as we discuss and explore these exciting subjects together!
Using a sewing box or sewing machine, you'll learn to create new items as well as mend or alter your own clothes and belongings in a sustainable and eco-friendly way, reducing textile waste and extending the life of your clothes.
