PLEASE READ ALL CLASS CRITERIA BELOW, PAYING SPECIAL ATTENTION TO CLASS DATES & TIMES Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training is a nonviolent crisis intervention, which is a program focusing on the safe management of disruptive and assaultive behavior.
CPI INITIAL is a Two-day course designed to equip staff with an effective framework to safely manage and prevent difficult behaviors. You are eligible for refresher training if your CPI certification has not lapsed within one year’s time. Please check your BLUE CPI certification card for reference.
ATTENDEES: Must be CURRENT VUSD EMPLOYEES Slots are limited. Please verify with your sight administrator that you are able to attend. If for any reason you become unable to attend please cancel your order as soon as possible.
PARTICIPANTS MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO EXECUTE THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING. If you have a temporary injury that will prevent you from performing the essential physical requirements, please consider signing up for another class date.
